1. Introduction

This Shipping and Delivery Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions governing the delivery of products purchased from Ymart Stores Limited (“Ymart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you, the customer (“you” or “your”). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the terms set out in this Policy, in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

We are committed to providing a clear and transparent delivery service in accordance with your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

2. Delivery Locations

2.1 We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, including mainland Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and other offshore islands (e.g., Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man). 2.2 Please note that delivery to certain remote or offshore locations may incur additional charges and/or extended delivery times. Any such charges will be clearly displayed during the checkout process before you confirm your order.

3. Delivery Charges

3.1 Delivery charges are calculated based on the size, weight, and delivery method selected for your order. 3.2 All applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed at the beginning of the ordering process and again at checkout before you finalise your purchase. 3.3 Prices for delivery are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) where applicable.

4. Delivery Timeframes

4.1 Standard Delivery: Unless otherwise agreed, we will deliver your goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 30 days from the day after the contract is made (i.e., the day after you place your order). 4.2 Estimated Delivery Times: We will provide an estimated delivery timeframe for each delivery option during the checkout process. While we make every effort to meet these estimates, they are not guaranteed delivery dates unless explicitly stated as such (e.g., for “Next Day Delivery” services). 4.3 Specific Delivery Dates: If you and Ymart agree to a specific delivery date (e.g., for a time-sensitive item or a pre-ordered product), this date becomes a legally binding commitment. If we fail to deliver by this essential date, you may have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. 4.4 Delays: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or events outside our reasonable control that cause a delay in delivery, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated estimated delivery date. If the delay is significant and we fail to deliver within the initial 30-day period (or agreed extended period), you will have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

5. Delivery Process

5.1 Dispatch Confirmation: Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. This email will include your tracking number (if applicable) and instructions on how to track your parcel. 5.2 Tracking Your Order: You can track the status of your delivery using the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email. 5.3 Receipt of Goods: Upon delivery, you may be required to sign for the goods. This signature confirms receipt of the goods in good condition. If the packaging appears damaged upon delivery, please note this with the courier if possible, and inspect the goods immediately. 5.4 Damaged or Missing Items on Arrival: If your order arrives damaged, or if items are missing, you must notify us within a reasonable time (preferably within 24-48 hours of delivery) with photographic evidence of the damage to the packaging and/or product. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may involve a replacement, repair, or refund, in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 5.5 Failed Delivery Attempts: If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g., no one is available to receive the parcel), the courier will typically leave a card with instructions on how to arrange redelivery or collect the parcel from a local depot. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions. If you fail to rearrange delivery or collect the products within the courier’s specified timeframe, the parcel may be returned to us. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge you for any additional redelivery costs or deduct reasonable costs incurred (such as return shipping fees) from any refund issued.

6. Risk of Loss and Damage

6.1 The goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or to a person identified by you to take possession of the goods (e.g., a neighbour or a safe place you have specified). 6.2 If you provide specific delivery instructions (e.g., “leave in shed” or “leave with neighbour”), and the goods are delivered according to these instructions, the responsibility for the goods passes to you at that point. We will not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods after they have been left as per your instructions.

7. Your Right to Cancel for Late Delivery

7.1 You have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund if: * We fail to deliver the goods by an agreed essential delivery date. * We fail to deliver the goods within the initial 30-day period (or any other period explicitly agreed with you), and after you have given us a further reasonable deadline which we also fail to meet.

7.2 To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel. We will then process a full refund, including any standard delivery charges you paid, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notification.
